In early may the 23th General Meeting of the Asociación Española de Factoring took place, sponsored by Alvantia as a IT supplier expert in commercial finance solutions.

This event, which is celebrated annually, gathers the key players of the commercial finance industry. Companies like Banco Santander, BBVA, La Caixa, Sabadell, Abanca or UBI Banca attended the anual gathering to share experiences and perspectives about the evolution of Confirming and Factoring.

In its participatoin, Alvantia presented to the main entities of the industry the different products and services it offers related to our specialization, Corporate Banking, and especially the ones relating to Confirming and Factoring products.

Several conferences also took place, from sponsors and guest companies alike. The company Ernest & Young offered two different studies: one about the implementation of the new European directive of payments (PSD2), analysing the main differences with the current regulation and the changes and implications for the commecial finance world, and another study about the current situation of Factoring and Confirming.

On the other hand, Bankia Estudios offered a global vision of the current economic evolution, providing data about the improvement of the markets and the general economy.

The event had special interest thanks to both the level of accuracy, quality and relevance of the data provided by the speakers and the active engagement of the visitors, who contributed with their comments and opinions to complete the information and helped to create a global vision of the current state of commercial finance.
